In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, doctors would wear a beak masks during a plague. They would fill the nose of the mask with aromatics to protect them from the stench and disease in the air. The plague doctor's costume consisted of a long overcoat, a beak mask often filled with lavender, a brimmed hat, gloves, and boots. The look of this doctors mask is a bit terrifying and out of this world.
The Raven Feather Death Mask is a unique decorative piece that makes a big statement! This faux artifact looks very creepy on a library shelf, old trunk, Halloween party table or on your face.
